The Zimbabwe Defence Forces Beneﬁt Fund (ZDF BF) handed over 25 two-bedroom houses to beneﬁciaries in Tsvingwe, Mutasa District in Mutare on 28 July 2020.The handover ceremony was ofﬁciated by Vice Chairman of the Management Committee of the Fund, Air Commodore Brian Chikonzo, who was accompanied by the Director ZDF BF, Colonel Blessing Chikukuza Maraire.

A former Artillery Brigade based soldier, Staff Sergeant Bongani Chishiri, who retired from the military on 31 May 2020, has commended the Zimbabwe National Army for giving him exposure and experience to overcome all forms of challenges during his time.
The Zimbabwe National Army always takes pride in giving a helping hand to needy communities in line with the Government's development programmes and also as part of the organisation's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) under the Zimbabwe Defence Forces Community Assistance Programme. To demonstrate its commitment to serving the people, the ZNA makes it a point that its engineers and artisans are assigned to work on identiﬁed community assistance projects throughout the year.
As the country is still in a lockdown declared and constantly reviewed by the Government, as a measure to contain the spread of the Coronavirus, much has been said and done by many people who follow various social media platforms that have been awash with relevant as well as misleading information on the deadly pandemic.
